Twenty years ago, my imagination could not have conceived the existence of this body of art, nor the journey I’ve been on to create it.  My name is Garrett Hines and I’m a Catholic artist.

The artwork you see here was created to inspire people, help them pray, and tell them about Jesus. That is the totality of my desire as an artist. The journey didn’t start with that goal in mind. Mostly, it started with a desire to get out of the broken place my spirit dwelled in. Through life as a husband, dad, artist, missionary, poet, and teacher, Christ has led me on a journey up mountains, and down into valley’s, shaping me along the way to His good will.

As a watercolorist my work can be found in businesses, college campuses, and galleries.  As an Iconographer, I trained under Veronica Royal from “Royal Icon Studio” and my work can be found in the Austin Diocese Pastoral Center, as well as in the homes of many parishioners around the United States.  It is my joy to share this work with you, and to hopefully encourage your walk with Christ.

Glory to Jesus Christ, Glory Forever.
